Happy Birthday to Me

My birthday was yesterday! Happy birthday week to me! 

We started the day out by waking up at 9 am... and now let me just tell you that is totally sleeping in for me around here! (Thank you son for sleeping in extra long for mommy). The husband made me an excellent breakfast eggs and waffles. Then I got the greatest BIRTHDAY gift ever!!! A Mac Book Air (that I am excitedly writing on right meow). 

The rest of the days plans were to hit up this place called Linder Farms. Full of pumpkins, hot cider, animals, games and etc... That's how I wanted to spend my day TOTAL FALL! Found out the place didn't open til 5. So, we decided to go out for lunch. Kneaders was what I was craving, a yummy turkey  feta salad and some warm broccoli cheese soup! Perfect right!? 

From there we went home to get our Lil mister a Lil nap before the festivities of the night! I was so excited to go to Linder Farms and wanted to share the fun with my bonus kids ( my husbands kiddos, whom i refer to as BONUS KIDS, because I STRONGLY dislike the word step, LIKE STRONGLY). Anyway rant over! We picked up the kiddos and headed out for a cold chilly October night and I loved every minute!!! 

To top off my amazing birthday day, my son (Jaymon) decided he would get the flu :/ definitely not an ideal way to end your birthday. But hey I'm a mom its what I do! Long night of cuddles and smell of puke :) Just perfect!

New blog name, back on track!

It's been way to long lovely little blog of mine, kick me in the butt. No really do! I started this blog about a little over a year ago. It started out as The Ward Family! 

As the year had moved on I stopped blogging, why.... I couldn't tell ya. So I was talking to my sweet friend Laken last week and decided I would start it up again and change the name! 

Maybe this name change, and hopefully soon blogger remodel will be the push I need to do this :) (more often then not) 

What this new name means, NEW blog posts, from- fashion ootd, makeup, my business adventures, days of fun, weekend adventures, updates of my family life, what I'm loving at the moment fashion/beauty and other wise!  So I know that's kinda all over the place but that's just me!!!! 

I hope you come along for the wonderful journeys through my life!

Easter Sunday

I can't get enough of this picture!!! Being a mommy is the best!

The day could have not been more perfect. Woke up to a happy baby, ran out to the living room to find all his basket treasures!!! Then we ran into our room where dad was sleeping and woke him up to tell him the EATER BUNNY didnt forget him!!!! :) Got ready for Church. Went to Church. Had our (we have to have a picture every year and the hubby always complains) picture taken! RELAXED at home, watched some basketball.

Got ready for some family time at my sister-in-laws house! Had the best dinner, egg hunt, sitting in the sun chatting, boys tossing the football around, watch the Louisville guy break his leg :(  (so happy they won) whoop whoop. ALL IN ALL Easter Sunday was such a blessed day!!!

11-14 month jaymon update!

I had been wanting to do a monthly til Jaymon Joe was 1 but I just couldnt keep up with him walking and getting into everything to get all the pictures together and to remember to blog!  HOW do you blog mommies do it?!?! I guess I just be lazy or forgetful!

better late than never....

:) hello all!

its been way to long since I last posted on this little blog of mine. ALOT has kept me busy, to much to write about but, on the UP... Jaymon is 14 months and growing everyday, learning new things, talking like a cave man, the faces his makes are priceless. THE KISSES HE GIVES are the sweetest and I just cant get enough of them! OMG. I will have to do a post of JUST pictures of him... I promise that will be up soon!

so whats been keeping me busy beside being a mommy and wifey. I have opened an ETSY shop! oh yes I did! It sorta happend fast... I found crochet needles one afternoon and a couple days later I had made two hats and a week later the bestie and I were putting a plan together for me!

I couldnt be more excited to share my love my shop :) GO check it out! its been up for about 2 weeks now, and Im just having fun with it! there are ALOT more designs to come so head on over and check it out when you get a moment!!!!

Christmas, New Years and beyond!

I have been HORRIBLE at blogging lately, WOW. 
I have missed it, I love posting about my life, because I know one day I will love to look back and cherish every post. So this is ME, telling YOU (whoever you are, if your even a you, or is it just me reading my blogs) whoever, whatever;  that I am back. Better than ever, promising to post AT LEAST, AT LEAST 1 post a week. Thats not to much to ask, I know this!

I must say a few things though, since I have a been gone from this lil' love of a blog, we had the BEST Christmas EVER EVER. It was so so amazing having a baby around this time of year. It brought so much joy and love to our home I just cant explain it!

New Years was spent eating a lot of yummy food, playing dominos (with the most incredible people ever), and kissing not only my forever lover hubs, I (we) got to give kisses to our adorable baby boy. Yup he was wide awake at 12! I could not have asked for a better way to ring in the NEW YEAR!
We are beyond excited about 2013 and all the amazing changes for our family. More to come in future posts!

One of the MOST exciting things of the new year was our JAYMON JOES 1st BIRTHDAY party. 
Mom decided to throw a big ole' bash. A Winter ONEderland theme party. GET IT! haha. I know. I know. It was one amazing day! I'll post a few pictures of that fun filled day down below. :)

Life lately...

Life lately has been flyingby..... Like jaymon joe turns ONE in less than a month :( whhhhaaat happen to this year, it flew by. But I surely have enjoyed watching him grow and learning new things everyday!
I have been slacking on this blog a weeee bit and I am sorry, life got in the way! I will be updating Jaymons months soon, so stay tuned.


Family pictures were taken! And they turned out amazing. Ill be posting more soon.




Thanksgiving came and left, it was a successful first for Jaymon he loved grandmas mash potatoes! And we just loved hanging out all day with the family!








Did the Black Friday shopping as well with my mother and sister in laws!!!!




The following evening I came home from shopping to lights and we finished by hanging up our stockings :)
